(SBSI) is a bank holding company headquartered in Tyler, Texas, that provides a broad range of commercial banking services to businesses, professionals, consumers, and community organizations primarily in Texas through its wholly-owned subsidiary Southside Bank, which operates 53 branches, two loan production offices, and 70 ATMs/ITMs across East Texas, Southeast Texas, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Austin markets. Southside Bank offers consumer loans including 1-4 family residential mortgages, home equity lines, home improvement loans, automobile loans, and other consumer installment loans; commercial loans such as short-term working capital needs for inventory and receivables, medium-term equipment financing, commercial real estate mortgages, and municipal obligations; construction loans for residential and commercial projects; deposit products encompassing checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts; wealth management and trust services; brokerage services; debit and credit cards; mortgage lending with rate reduction programs; safe deposit boxes; and digital banking solutions including mobile apps and interactive teller machines. Founded in 1966, the company manages approximately $8.38 billion in assets as of September 30, 2025, and serves individual, business, and nonprofit customers in high-growth Texas regions. In recent developments, Southside Bancshares announced a dual listing on NYSE Texas effective November 25, 2025, while maintaining its primary NYSE listing under the SBSI ticker to enhance shareholder value and visibility in its core Texas markets; appointed Mitchell Craddock as Chief Operating Officer effective November 15, 2025, succeeding Brian K.
