Founded on December 24, 1991, as Shanghai Pudong Dazhong Taxi Co., Ltd. and renamed in May 2003, the company maintains its headquarters at Building 1, Zhongteng Building, Shanghai, China, and lists on the Shanghai Stock Exchange under ticker 600635.SS as well as in Hong Kong. Recent developments include the formation in 2024 of a joint venture named Shanghai Dazhong GreenMobility New Energy Development Co., Ltd., with registered capital of RMB20 million funded by subsidiaries Dazhong Supply Chain, Dazhong Logistics, and largest shareholder Dazhong Business Management to focus on electric vehicle charging operations, battery swap facilities, solar power services, and sales of charging equipment and new energy vehicles; issuance of 2025 medium-term bonds including a second tranche of RMB400 million on August 1, 2025; and strengthened positions in venture investments through holdings in Shenzhen Capital Group with stakes in pre-IPO firms like Moore Threads and Unitree Robotics.
