Business
Mantex AB (publ) (MANTEX.ST) develops, produces and sells X-ray-based analytical solutions for non-destructive testing and measurement of wood-based raw materials and biomass in the pulp and paper, bioenergy and process industries; its core products include the Biofuel Analyzer for assessing quality parameters such as energy content, moisture and ash in wood-based biofuels; the Flow Scanner for inline measurement of wood chips in high-volume industrial flows to optimize pulp production and biofuel processes; and the Log Scanner for foreign object detection and dimensional measurements in logs. The company serves combined heat and power plants, biofuel suppliers and distributors, pulp mills and bioenergy producers with type-approved systems like the Biomass Analyzer certified by Biometria for pricing and quality determination of sawmill chips and sawdust. Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Kista, Sweden, Mantex operates internationally with deliveries including large-scale Flow Scanners to eucalyptus processing facilities in Brazil and installations at leading Swedish pulp producers such as Waggeryd Cell. Recent financial reporting for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2025, shows net sales of SEK 241 thousand amid ongoing operational refinements, while the company maintains a lean structure with approximately 10 employees and leadership under CEO Max Gerger. Mantex focuses on the specialty industrial machinery sector within industrials, trading on Nasdaq Stockholm with fiscal year ending December and reporting in SEK.
