- Tarku Resources Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of precious and base metal projects in mining-friendly jurisdictions including Quebec, Canada, and Arizona, United States. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Cranbrook, British Columbia, the company holds approximately 25,000 hectares of mining titles in Quebec and 2,900 hectares in Arizona, targeting gold, silver, copper, zinc, lead, nickel, cobalt, platinum group elements, lithium, and other minerals for junior explorers, joint ventures, or divestitures. Its flagship assets include the Silver Strike project in Arizona's Tombstone Mining District, a 29 square kilometer property with potential for carbonate replacement deposits similar to the nearby Hermosa project acquired by South32; the Three A's projects (Apollo covering 52.7 square kilometers with 96 claims, Admiral covering 43.3 square kilometers with 78 claims, and Atlas covering 41.1 square kilometers with 74 claims) in Quebec's Matagami Greenstone Belt, interpreted as the eastern extension of the Detour Belt; the MAX Lithium project located five kilometers southwest of Sayona Mining's North American Lithium mine; and additional Quebec properties along regional shear zones with known gold, copper, zinc, nickel, and lithium mineralization. In May 2024, Tarku acquired the Dana project through staking in Quebec's Côte-Nord region near the Havre-Saint-Pierre anorthosite complex, adding a nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE asset with historical high-grade surface showings including up to 4.50% copper, 1.69% nickel, 0.09% cobalt, and 537 ppb PGE; the company continues to advance exploration on its core assets while consolidating data for upcoming programs on Dana and providing updates on Silver Strike sampling. In December 2023, Tarku closed a private placement financing to support ongoing exploration efforts across its portfolio.
