Founded in 1945 and headquartered in Osaka, Japan, the company--formerly known as Izumi Denki Corporation--recently entered an agreement in November 2024 for Tokyo Gas Engineering Solutions to acquire its wholly-owned subsidiary IDEC Systems & Controls, a provider of solar power plant design, construction, and maintenance services with over 100,000 kW in nationwide projects, with the transaction scheduled for completion by March 31, 2025.
