Business
Wabash National Corporation designs, manufactures and distributes engineered transportation solutions, including semi-trailers, truck bodies, parts and services, for the North American trucking and logistics industries. Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana, the company offers dry freight vans, refrigerated vans, platform trailers and flatbed trailers; liquid tank trailers; dry and refrigerated truck bodies; and advanced composite materials and structures, serving fleet operators, independent owner-operators and rental companies primarily in the United States with select operations in Canada and Mexico. Wabash provides value-added services such as its Trailers-as-a-Service (TaaS) subscription model, parts distribution and maintenance through an expanding network of service centers and authorized dealers. In recent developments, Wabash formed a strategic partnership with Global Tank in September 2025 to expand its tank trailer network and accelerate growth in that segment; partnered with Echo Global Logistics in April 2025 to broaden its drop trailer business; and collaborated with Kodiak Robotics for TaaS to support autonomous trucking operations. The company acquired substantially all assets of an undisclosed entity on February 3, 2025, and announced significant Southeast U.S. network expansion in 2025, including a new parts and services center near Atlanta, dealer additions and enhancements to its Preferred Partner Network. Wabash continues quarterly dividends, reflecting financial stability amid ongoing investments in manufacturing capacity and service infrastructure.
